Can You Wear White to a Wedding? How About Black?

This one is actually quite simple. The bottom line is, everyone's going to be watching what the bride, groom and wedding party are wearing, not you.

But, there are some basic guidelines to help you be a well-dressed guest.

Wearing white - Since wedding dresses have been white (about the mid-19th century) women have avoided wearing white to a wedding. While this rule has since been rejected, female guests should select carefully if opting to wear white, being careful to not select anything that looks "bridal". It's as simple as that!

What about Black? The long standing tradition of ladies not wearing black to a wedding has been overturned, too! Today, even bridesmaids wear it! You usually can't go wrong with a little black dress.
