Mother's Day is a celebration honoring one's own mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. In the U.S. it's celebrated on a Sunday in May. It began in the early 20th century and is such a nice way to say thanks to the moms in your life that do so much for you!
